about Adaptive Transformation Counseling

Are you looking

For a warm and authentic counselor who has a naturally intuitive way of connecting with people to understand the pain they are living with? Someone who can empathize with your unique issues and help you resolve them and find healing? Have you been trying different alternatives to heal on your own, but find that you are still facing the same problems presenting in new ways to undermine your continued efforts?

Welcome, I’m so glad you are here!

I’m Mary Oladiji, LPC.

I help teens, young adults, adults, and couples find solutions and relief from their daily struggles and draw on their inner strength to move forward.

Whether you are experiencing anxiety or depression, stuck in a destructive relationship pattern, going through difficult life transitions, or struggling with infertility, among other things, my individual or couples therapy can help you. My proactive and practical approach to counseling can provide you with a safe, non-judging, and confidential place to be honest. I strongly believe in the hope that this can lead to a better life experience and future.

Educational Background

I attended Grand Canyon University’s Master of Science program in Professional Counseling and have always loved helping people. I have clinical experience working with teens, young adults, adults, and couples. I have also helped clients with a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, grief, self-harming behaviors, suicidality, substance use, panic disorder, PTSD, and attachment-related issues, to name a few.

My clinical training includes various theoretical techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Trauma-focused Counseling. I am also an EMDR Trained Clinician and specialize in incorporating Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) in my work to help clients heal from trauma.

I am passionate about counseling and helping people find alternative ways of navigating this thing called life with its ups and downs. All I ask of you is motivation and a desire to see that glass half full as opposed to half empty. If I am not a good fit for you, I will refer you to another counselor who is.
